Golf Practice Greens
Pricing: Calculated by square footage. Many factors influence each project’s pricing structure; such as accessibility to site, choice of turf, site preparation, and size and scope of the project. Our pricing will be explained thoroughly and there will be no surprises when the project begins. A rough idea for a “ballpark estimate” is somewhere between 8 to 24 per square foot for a golf green.
Construction process: Generally takes between 4 to 8 working days for completion. Our process usually includes a mixed specialty, permeable, clean-gravel base that is professionally compacted. Our base construction includes excellent drainage without shifting or cracking regardless of severe weather conditions, and allows for shaping, contouring, and desired undulations for degrees of challenge. The pile height of our "long-nap" turf is significantly longer than most to provide sufficient cushioning for pitch shots and full shots. Other turf products are available for fringe areas and tee boxes. We install 6-inch, regulation size cups that are set below grade to simulate golf course conditions. We also have short-nap turf available for customers that do not anticipate chipping to their practice green, have accessibility or budget considerations, or size limitations. The choice between long-nap and short-nap turf is a matter of individual preference and we are happy to demonstrate each to help our customers decide which one they prefer.
Warranty: Our turf material is UV color protected and comes with an 8-year manufacturer's warranty. Construction and labor warranty is one year. Our outdoor turf resists mildew, our putting surface and cups do not leave our customers with standing water—even in Seattle.
Additionally: We also provide specialized turf for indoor areas, rooftop practice greens, bocce ball courts, tennis courts, poolside, and any other application anyone can dream up.
Many of our customers order a complete practice area including a full-swing cage and chipping areas strategically placed, or movable. We also build sand bunkers, with your choice of golf course sand color. We have excellent fringe turf available as well. Our full swing cages have many uses including soccer, baseball, hockey, football, tennis, and more.
Often synthetic turf projects are part of a larger landscape remodels, or new landscaping. We are happy to work with landscape contractors.
